Before recycling any computer, remove the hard drive or ask us to securely wipe it. Even a "dead" computer may contain recoverable personal data including passwords, tax records, photos, and financial information.
Need data off an old drive before you recycle the computer? We offer data recovery starting at $99. We can also securely destroy drives that contain sensitive data.

Is recycling free? +
Yes. Drop-off is free for most electronics including computers, laptops, flat panel monitors, printers, keyboards, phones, tablets, cables, and hard drives. We do not accept CRT monitors or CRT/glass-tube televisions.
Do I need an appointment? +
No. Walk in any weekday, 9 AM to 6 PM. If you have a large quantity of items, please call ahead so we can prepare space.
Do you wipe data from old drives? +
We recommend removing your hard drive before recycling, or ask us to securely wipe or physically destroy the drive. We can also recover data from old drives before recycling if needed.
What happens to my electronics after drop-off? +
Electronics are sorted, tested for reusable components, and sent to certified recycling partners. Usable parts are recovered. Hazardous materials are handled according to Virginia and federal regulations. Nothing ends up in a landfill.
